There are three givens in life; death, taxes, and the fact that all movies adaptations of video games are going to suck.

So with that in mind, I was slightly amused by the spots that ran during the Super Bowl. I was actually anticipating The Last Airbender trailer because I was curious of how well M. Knight Shamalan would adapt a screenplay rather than concoct his own. Unfortunately, I was left feeling like I was watching the second coming of Mortal Kombat, which in its own right falls under the third given above.

That leaves us with the Prince Of Persia spot. My first thought was again, "hey, I've seen this movie", only this time it was called The Mummy. It has all the makings of being a wait until video.
